Why it really matters
Monday 7:45am. Sylvain gets a call.
The previous weekend
“Sylvain, the server is soaked.”
A contractor had come in Friday evening to clear a blocked pipe. In doing so, he broke a joint in the suspended ceiling. Water seeped in silently all weekend. Monday morning: collapsed ceiling, drowned server, drives out of service. 45 employees locked out.
This SME had backups. But the last tests were 18 months ago. Nobody knew how to restart properly.

How it works
Simple to set up, reliable on the day
Automatic replication
Every 24 hours, encrypted snapshots of your servers are sent to a remote OVH datacenter. An automatic integrity check runs continuously.
Secure storage
OVH Gravelines/Strasbourg datacenters (Tier III+, 99.982% availability). AES-256 encryption, GDPR compliance, 6-month retention. Your data stays in OVH infrastructure.
Bi-annual tests — in real conditions
Every 6 months: full DRP activation. Your teams test their connection. On the day it matters, they already know exactly what to do.
Incident → you call → 4 hours
- You call the priority hotline
- Diagnosis and confirmation (30 min)
- Activation of your backup infrastructure (1h30)
- Your teams connect via the pre-configured connection (1h)
- Validation of critical services (1h)
- You’re back.
And step 5: once your main infrastructure is restored, we perform the reverse replication. Data modified during the DRP is synchronised. The switchback is seamless.
What a shutdown really costs you
A simple calculation: your annual turnover ÷ 220 days
This table only counts lost revenue. Salaries, emergency contractors, late penalties and client loss can easily double these figures.
💡 One avoided incident funds more than 10 years of protection. For an SME with €3M turnover and 2 TB of data, the DRP costs €240/month. A 72-hour outage without DRP costs at least €40,909.

Frequently asked questions
What business owners ask first
How long does it take to set up?
One day if your server is already configured with a standard technology. If a migration is required, allow 1 to 2 weeks — and the licence savings often fund the whole operation.
Is it compatible with my current infrastructure?
In 99% of cases, yes. If you already have a server in place, deployment takes a single day. If you’re on a different technology, two options: migrate then add DRP, or use an adapted replication solution. We analyse your situation during the free audit.
Can my team work normally during the DRP?
Yes, via the secure connection already installed on their workstations at deployment. They access their applications and files exactly as they did during the bi-annual tests — no surprises on the day.
What if my internet connection is cut?
The DRP works from anywhere: home, temporary office, coworking space. Your backup infrastructure is accessible from any internet connection.
How long can I stay on the DRP?
As long as necessary, at no extra cost. A hardware failure is resolved in 2 to 5 days. A major incident may require 2 to 8 weeks. In all cases, you only pay your monthly subscription.
What’s the difference between a backup and a DRP?
A backup is a copy of your data — restoration takes several days, often with no guarantee of outcome. A DRP is a complete active infrastructure, tested and ready to start within 4 hours. The two are complementary.
Is my data secure?
Encrypted in transit and at rest. ISO 27001 certified, Tier III+ datacenters. All access is logged. GDPR compliant.
