What exactly is Proxmox?
It’s an open source software that runs your virtual servers — exactly like VMware, but for free. It’s used by Amazon, Google and OVH for their own infrastructure. This is proven technology, not a hobbyist tool.
Will my business software keep working?
Yes. Proxmox runs exactly the same systems as VMware — Windows Server, Linux, all versions. Your applications don’t even know they’ve changed environment. We verify this systematically before closing each migration.
How long will my business be disrupted?
Very little. For each individual switchover: under 30 minutes. For critical servers, we schedule switchovers outside business hours. Some migrations can be done hot — zero downtime. We define the schedule together based on your constraints.
What if it doesn’t work as expected?

Will my teams have to relearn everything?

Proxmox is free, but what about support?
