When you want to drive your business forward, it’s crucial to have a high-performance network and reliable Wi-Fi. Beyond the simple issues of bandwidth and internet access, network management is also about security. An expert’s global vision is therefore essential if the best solutions are to be found. And in Lyon, the network specialist for VSEs and SMEs is Ezohiko.
In any company, a day at work that goes well is a day without IT problems. When everyone is focused on their task and their job. When teams can rely on their hardware, their network operator and their software services. When the connection is stable and the wifi is constant.
In short, when the various work tools are operational and all the company’s cogs are running smoothly.
But these ideal conditions are under threat. Because while digital can be fantastic, it can also bring its share of problems. And in every company, there are certain phrases that herald the kind of period you want to avoid at all costs.
A failing network means a business at risk
Doubts start to creep in when someone complains that “things are slow”.
A shiver runs through the offices when someone announces “I don’t have a network”.
And the panic becomes obvious when you hear “I think I’ve been hacked”.
Each of these situations represents a direct danger for the company, and jeopardises its results. It’s a nightmare for managers, stress for employees, and the undermining of all current objectives.
This is particularly true in the case of cyber-attacks: in France, the installation of malicious software aimed at the payment of a ransom (known as ransomware) has increased by 255% according to ANSSI. These attacks mainly target SMEs, and 33% of the companies affected have suffered losses in excess of €10K, and even in excess of €100K for 14% of them (source: Euler Ermes 2021 barometer).
Fortunately, there are solutions to put an end to these risks. Our customers are taking advantage of them. Why shouldn’t you?
The keys to implementing reliable and secure network solutions
First and foremost, network infrastructures need to be considered as a whole: we are of course talking about Internet access, bandwidth and WiFi coverage, but also data hosting, telecoms operators, cloud computing services and telephony.
Our network consultants are renowned for their versatility, and always start with an audit of the coverage required, the hardware installations and the company’s precise needs. This study is essential to gain the necessary perspective to build and implement the best overall solution for unified communications.
This overview ensures that all the elements are taken into account to meet your objectives, secure your exchanges and protect your data and that of your employees.

With or without fibre optics, we’ll advise you on your choice of equipment so that no one ever says “it’s slow” again.
We’ll install all the cables, routers and repeaters you need, so you’ll never hear “I don’t have a network” again.
We’ll deploy the firewalls and hardware precautions you need to guarantee your cyber security.
We’ll train your teams in best practice and how not to make mistakes, so that one day no one has to report that their computer has been hacked.
Our services are based on exchange, dialogue and proximity, so that we can constantly refine our responses and solutions.
Our role is as much that of an advisor as that of a technical integrator. Because we want to get the job done right at every stage of deploying your network infrastructure and digital strategy.
In short, we leave you to concentrate on what you do best: your job. We’ll take care of the IT and networks, because that’s what we do best too.
We’re based in Lyon, but we can also work in Grenoble and Paris. Of course, we’ll also consider proposals from Deauville or elsewhere (we like to travel all over the country), but we always give priority to the Rhône-Alpes region!

Fibre optics and enterprise VPN: an IT & Telecom case study
In the life of a company, small changes can lead to big changes, and to a global reconfiguration of the entire corporate network. In such cases, it’s important to be able to rely on a trusted partner to manage digital and telecoms issues.
Let’s take the example of a company in Lyon whose premises have just been equipped with fibre optics, and which would like to quickly benefit from this for the fifty or so workstations to be connected. Their main reason for coming to us was to take advantage of this high-speed broadband to quickly access the Internet and the Microsoft Teams and Office 365 tools they use. They also need public wifi for the clients they welcome, who sometimes have to wait in their offices.
We visited the site to carry out an audit of the coverage required and the adaptation of the IT equipment to the installations. We take advantage of this to go a little further in expressing our needs, and soon obtain other data to be taken into account in the installation of the network.
For example, the company is making increasing use of teleworking, and we are drawing its attention to the fact that the multiplication of access points to company data requires additional security precautions.
We also look at corporate telephony, and realise that the company has never considered changing telecoms operator. We look at a number of ways of considerably reducing costs in this area by doing away with the traditional PSTN service.
Finally, we note that the backup policy has a major flaw: the lack of regular backup of data hosted by Microsoft’s cloud services. We would point out that the general conditions of use of these services do not guarantee data recovery in the event of service failure.
We are therefore proposing the installation of a high-speed SDSL internet access, to obtain a symmetrical speed that will allow the integration of voice over IP telephony, a secure connection to Cloud services and new local servers to set up a new regular backup routine.
We also recommend deploying a VPN to secure remote access to company tools via a private network.
Finally, for public wifi, our ‘wifi as a service’ offering is particularly well-suited, with its monthly subscription system guaranteeing an efficient, secure network that complies with the law (with traceability of connections and data), while saving time on configuration and a heavy investment in equipment.
Of course, this comprehensive offer, which takes account of the long term and offers guarantees in terms of safety, has been favourably received by our customer, and will be supplemented by a maintenance service to ensure follow-up and advice to support this company as it continues to improve its performance!
